We photograph families at home, outdoors, in parks, gardens, city locations and other relaxed spaces that feel comfortable for you. Whether you are booking a family session, birthday portraits, a graduation shoot or a milestone session for your child, we can help you choose a location that suits the feel of your photos.
There is no travel fee for family and portrait sessions within Leeds.
For sessions outside Leeds, travel costs are calculated separately based on the city, location and the amount of coverage needed.

Where does a family photography session take place?

What should we wear for family photos?
We send simple styling guidance before your session. Soft, complementary tones usually photograph better than completely matching outfits, and comfortable layers often work beautifully.
The most important thing is that everyone feels relaxed, so the guidance is practical rather than strict.
Can young children and babies be included?
Absolutely. Babies, toddlers and children of all ages are welcome. We allow time for children to settle, move around, have a snack or take a little break if needed.
You do not need to worry about whether your children will behave perfectly. The session is relaxed and child-led, with gentle direction only when it helps.
How long does a family session take?
Most family photography sessions last between 40 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the package, family size and type of session.
Mini portrait sessions are shorter, while fuller family sessions allow more time for relaxed portraits, candid moments and little pauses if children need them.
Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Yes. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and wider family members are welcome.
Please mention this when you enquire so we can make sure there is enough time in the session for everyone. Extended family portraits are often some of the most treasured images from a session.
Do you offer birthday, cake smash or graduation sessions?
Yes. We offer birthday portraits, cake smash / first birthday sessions and graduation portraits as part of our family and portrait photography services.
These sessions are ideal for marking a special chapter without needing a full family session.
Do you offer newborn and family photography together?
Yes. Many families book a newborn photography session and then return for family portraits as their child grows.
