Sessions are relaxed and unhurried. We follow your baby's lead entirely - feeding breaks, cuddle time and parent moments are all welcomed. Noura Studio is based in Leeds and offers at-home maternity, newborn and milestone photography across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire, including Leeds, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Sheffield, Manchester, Salford, Preston, Lancaster and nearby areas.
All sessions are designed to feel calm, simple and comfortable for you and your baby. We can travel to your home or a chosen outdoor location, depending on the type of session you book - from maternity photos before your baby arrives, to newborn portraits in the first few weeks, and milestone sessions as your baby grows.
There is no travel fee for sessions within Leeds. For sessions outside Leeds, travel costs are calculated separately based on your location, and this will always be discussed clearly before confirming your booking.Common questions about newborn sessions

Book a SessionWhen is the best time to book newborn photography?
We recommend booking during pregnancy — ideally before 30 weeks — so a date can be held around your due date. The best window for newborn photography is within the first ten to fourteen days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and curl into gentle positions more easily. If you have already had your baby, please still get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Where does the newborn session take place?
All newborn photography sessions take place at your home — the most comfortable environment for a new baby and a new family. You do not need a dedicated room or a photogenic space. We work with natural light and our portable equipment to make any home look calm and beautiful.
Do you bring the studio setup to my home?
Yes. We bring a full portable studio setup including professional soft lighting and simple, clean backgrounds. You receive images with a calm, elegant quality without needing to travel or prepare a special room. We set everything up and take everything away — you simply open the door.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Absolutely. Family portraits with parents, siblings and grandparents can all be included. We recommend mentioning this when you enquire so we can allow enough time. These photographs are often the most treasured — capturing the full family as it is in those very first days.
How long does a newborn session take?
Newborn sessions typically take between two and three hours, though we never set a rigid end time. Babies feed, need changing, need holding — all of that is welcomed and expected. We follow your baby's rhythm, not a schedule. Plan for a relaxed morning or afternoon rather than a quick appointment.
Do you offer maternity and newborn packages together?
Yes. Many families combine a maternity session with their newborn photography to create a complete visual story from pregnancy to the early days at home. Please mention this when you enquire and we will include combined package guidance in our reply. Visit our pricing page for more information.
